Please come and join me for an evening in support of Afghanaid on Wednesday 6 November at the Royal Geographical Society.
For 35 years, the charity Afghanaid has been working for peace and prosperity in Afghanistan. They work alongside some of the poorest and most remote rural communities in Afghanistan to rebuild basic services, improve agriculture and other livelihoods, strengthen the rights of women and children, and respond to natural disasters.
Despite many continuing challenges in the country, Afghanaid is one of the longest serving and most widely respected charities in Afghanistan. In 2019 their projects will continue to make life better for over one million Afghan men, women and children.
The evening will include a panel discussion, as well as an optional drinks reception with speakers and music in the Main Hall.
A silent auction accompanies the event. Bidding via Galabid will open on 23rd October.
Doors Open 6:30 pm
Panel Discussion and Q&A 7:00 pm
